Quilt Bug ‘Clubs’ and Special Events

Civil War Tribute 

If you enjoy history, this is the one for you. This beautiful 100" x 112" quilt is a tribute to the commemoration of the 150th anniversary of the beginning of the Civil War. All the fabrics will be from a special collection for this purpose. Each block represents a major battle for the war. It will also include references to each of these battles, both from the Northern and Southern points of view. This is a very special series and will begin in Feb. 2010. Sign up is $25.00 which will hold your spot. We have scheduled a weekday, evening and weekend classes. Be sure and call the shop to sign up because spots are going fast!

Scrap Therapy                                             A cutting session is required for each quarter. Classes for different projects will be offered. Once you have attended a cutting workshop, you are entitled to attend a class. You can come to as many cutting workshops as you want. It's easier to cut with a friend that to be alone. Keep those scraps under control and organized!

Chilly Charmers - 4th Sat. of each month. Chilly Charmers is about to wrap up for 2009. We will be starting a new project in January from an Austrailian Quilting Magazine. Call the shop for more details.

CHILLY CHARMERS will be wrappng up in February and will then become........

FLOWER COTTAGE... will begin in March. Flower Cottage tells a delightful woodland story. A quilt lover's dream - using a combination of machine applique and piecing techniques. We have tried to closely replicate the pastel fabrics used in the original quilt as they are so soft and charming.

CLIFTY FALLS SPRING RETREAT
